- What prompted you to the writing of your book?
I actually started to write my book as a healing guide for myself. I was recovering from a deep depression after the loss of a job and my two grandmothers, and I started to look for answers to solve my mental health problems. I wanted to document my journey and remember all the healing techniques I was learning, especially the ones that were helping me the most. And then, one day during my meditation, the idea of writing a book crossed my mind. Since I love writing, I started right away to pen my ideas and work on my book. My goal was to help other people in similar situations and create the guideline I wish I would have had when my healing journey began. I thought that if the techniques I learned had helped me so much, they could definitely help other people as well. I wrote the book at the same time my healing process took place and, after some years in the making and seeing how my life completely transformed for the better, I decided to polish it further to make it public one day.
- What characteristics your audience should have to appreciate your book?
I think anyone on a path of self-improvement and personal growth can benefit from my book, especially people who want to heal their past and start creating a better life for the future. In particular, people who are struggling at the moment either with mental health issues, relationship problems, negative habits or something that is disrupting the harmony in their life might find this guideline helpful because it outlines 10 simple steps to let the past go and start building strong foundations for the life ahead. However, that is not to say that anyone can take some of the concepts in the book and apply them in their life. Most of us carry unhealed trauma and emotions, and the techniques in this book can help anyone who is willing to take a healing and self-love journey to transform their lives.
- What messages did you want to convey with your book?
There are many messages that I wanted to convey in my book: the power of letting go and acceptance of the past, the gift of forgiveness and the importance of believing in ourselves. However, the main concept I would like my readers to focus on is self-love and self-acceptance. Lack of self-love and feeling we are not good enough or worthy enough are the root causes of most of our insecurities and negative habits. Either rooted in traumatic events, past issues or being brought up in a chaotic upbringing, feelings of unworthiness block our progress in life and don‘t allow us to move forward. Loving and accepting ourselves for who we are is for me one of the most important steps towards self-growth and transformation, and it is also the first step towards healing. When we are sure of who we are: our confidence improves, we make better decisions and attract better relationships. Overall, we start living a more aligned and fulfilling life.
- In what way what you suggest in your book did support your personal transformation?
I would go as far as to say that my book has had a central role in my personal transformation. Like I said before, it started as a way to document all that I was learning during my healing process, but it has also become my very personal guideline to follow when I face a difficult situation in life or there is something I would like to improve. Every time I feel stuck, lack motivation or face a new challenge, I come back to my proven steps and start the journey again. And there is always something new to heal or to learn. Not only that, the process of writing this book brought a lot of healing due to the fact that remembering my past trauma and unresolved issues brought up many emotions that were ready to be released. I remember writing my story about my eating disorder and feeling so guilty about it, so I took the lessons I learned and forgave myself in the process. Writing this book has helped me completely release my past and start building a new life for myself, becoming now my faithful companion in the up and down rollercoaster called life.
- Are you working on a new writing project you can tell us about?
I am actually working on a new project already about everyday rituals proven by science to improve our well-being and quality of life. My goal is to do some research on cultural and spiritual rituals to explain why they have been passed on generation to generation and how they can improve our lives when implementing them. The project is still at the very beginning. I am working on the book‘s outline and doing some research about the rituals that I love the most, and I have been happily surprised about the amount of scientific research I have been finding on this regard. My plan is to create a practical and interactive book with many practices following the researched explanations, so the readers can benefit from working with the rituals first hand.

To you, my readers, may all the different messages that the author wants to share with all his readers including, the power of letting go, the gift of forgiveness, the importance of believing in oneself, but above all self-love and self-acceptance, serve you as food for thought to reflect upon and let you figure out the way to apply them in order to have a better and more fulfilling life.
So, my dear reader, all I have to say is to enjoy your reading!
