Isaiah 46:3-4 cements it as follows: Listen to Me, O house of Jacob, all the remnant of the house of Israel, who have been sustained from the womb, carried along since birth. Even to your old age, I will be the same, and I will bear you up when you turn gray. I have made you, and I will carry you; I will sustain you and deliver you. God is faithful, all we need do is trust Him. He would not take the time to create us, put us in our mother’s wombs and show us the way out, only to abandon us here on earth, we have a divine purpose to which He is committed to ensure it is fulfilled, we are not accidents. God was also able to reveal to his prophet Isaiah about the birth of Jesus Christ and the kind of person he would be way before his birth because Jesus had been with God before the creation of the foundation of the earth and so He knew him intimately because He was part and parcel of God, and it was always in God’s plan to send Jesus to save us.
Today we talk about Knowing who you are in Christ, a book by Natasha Nanyangwe Chirwa-Lungu published with our publishing house Europe Books.
Europe Books had the pleasure of interviewing the author Natasha Nanyangwe Chirwa-Lungu to get to know her better, where she found the inspiration to write her book Knowing who you are in Christ, as well as what is the message she wants to send out with her book.
Below you can find our interview. Take a seat and enjoy your reading!!!
- Was the idea for this book born at a particular moment? What was that?
I think it was a gradual process…I had been looking for answers to a lot of questions in my life. The culmination however came when the message was preached at my church in early 2020 about knowing who you are in Christ…so many things started making sense and I found myself writing what the Holy Spirit was communicating to me not even knowing at the time that it would turn into a book I would publish.
- What are the messages you wanted to send out with your book?
This book teaches you about who you truly are, where you came from, who your creator is and the purpose for which you were created. You are not a mistake or an accident. The things that have happened to you are all part of the intricate design God has for your life. Good or bad, all things work together for good to those that love God. Once you know who you are and where you came from, worry flies out the window and you move about life with a purpose, knowing that you are not a nonentity.
- Do you still have unanswered questions that you are trying to answer? If so, what are they?
As Paul once said, ‘I do not claim to have apprehended it all.’ This is a school for life where you never stop learning or asking questions. The good part is God answers them all every single time. Most of the questions I had have turned into books I am writing. The bible says, ‘you will find me if you seek me with all your heart’. So I wouldn’t say I don’t have questions, what I do know is that I have no cause to worry about anything because God reveals the answers to every question in my spirit every single time. Two burning questions I had are:
– What it really means to have a full lifespan for a believer…and they die young?
– What it really means to have faith in God…do you simply believe His word and go about your life waiting for it to manifest in your life, or do you do something about it…as the saying goes PUSH (pray until something happens) ?
- How was your publishing experience?
This was my first time and I really have nothing to compare it to. However what I can say is that it was effortless. At every stage of the process there was someone to help me and guide me. Europe Books publishing company is the best and I would not hesitate to recommend it to other people. They are every author’s dream come true. I felt like I was in first class the entire time. I can never thank you enough…
- Are you planning to write more books of same literary genre?
Yes, I am already on book 2….it is my dream come true. I have many more to come.
