Today we talk about Circle With 3 Corners, a book by AnB Love published with our publishing house Europe Books.
Europe Books had the pleasure of interviewing the author, AnB Love, to get to know her better, where she found the inspiration that brought her to the writing of her book Circle With 3 Corners, as well as how she chose the title of her book.
Below you can find our interview. Take a seat and enjoy your reading!!!
- Where did you find the inspiration to write your book?
I wrote my first novel, ‘Imprinted Curse,’ inviting readers to embark on a journey alongside the enigmatic and multifaceted protagonist – Emily Jones. As the narrative unfolded, the seeds of a second novel already took root in my creative mind. The characters, having found a place in the hearts of readers in the first novel, evolve further in my current novel ‘Circle With 3 Corners’. Although ‘Circle With 3 Corners’ not only builds upon the emotional depth established in ‘Imprinted Curse’ but also ventures into new realms, offering a unique and captivating exploration of the complex intertwining of suspense, romance, and the human experience
- What do you want to communicate to readers with this work?
While the story is fictional, it could easily mirror the harsh reality for many individuals. The novel carries a powerful message, delving into the intertwined issue of human trafficking, addressing both adults and children, and exposing the extensive international network of perpetrators engaged in this modern form of slavery. I believe that by harnessing the power of storytelling, I can raise awareness about sex trafficking, the enduring consequences of child abuse, and the formidable challenges associated with post-traumatic stress disorder stemming from rape, childhood trauma, and human trafficking. Through the art of storytelling, this novel aims not only to captivate but to inspire action, raising awareness and inciting change in the face of these pressing societal issues.
- How did you choose the tile of your book?
In my quest for the perfect title, I turned to my husband for inspiration, and the moment he proposed ‘Circle With 3 Corners’, a decisive choice was made. While the title encapsulates the essence of the novel, readers will discover the meaning behind the title ‘Circle With 3 Corners’ by the end of the novel.
- How would you define your writing style?
I am committed to crafting character-driven and authentic narratives that readers can connect with on a deep level. My stories are driven by the intricate complexities of the human character, delving into emotional and moral dilemmas. To breathe life into my narratives, I engage in extensive research, delving into the subject matter, real locations and details to create a literary experience that transports readers into a world that feels vividly authentic. I aim to depict the rich and diverse nature of the human experience and blur the lines between reality and fiction.
- Are you currently working on a new book? Can you tell us more about it?
I am currently writing two novels simultaneously. One is the story of the Du Randt family, whom readers will encounter in my current novel. The second one is titled ‘Songbird Cry’. The novel is inspired by true events set in the dynamic backdrop of 1960s South Africa. The story is of two individuals who face formidable challenges in their quest for a shared affection; their passionate connection intertwines with a vision to impart a crucial message of wildlife conservation to future generations.
Europe Books thanks the author, AnB Love, once again for taking the time and answering our questions. We are really pleased to have walked alongside her on the editorial path that led to the publication of her book Circle With 3 Corners. We wish her the best of luck for her future works.
To you, my readers, I wish that this book will intrigue you but at the same time allow you to better understand and raise awareness of a very delicate and complicated topic such as human trafficking, with its lasting and traumatic consequences. And if through this book you can act and allow this to never happen again then in your own way you have contributed to saving human lives and making this world a better place.
So, my dear reader, all I have to say is to enjoy your reading!
