Today we talk about The monster and forty, a book by Wissam Ahmed published with our publishing house Europe Books.
Europe Books had the pleasure of interviewing the author Wissam Ahmed, to get to know her better, what was the moment that led her to the writing of her book The monster and forty, as well as how much of herself she sees in the protagonist of her novel.
Below you can find our interview. Take a seat and enjoy your reading!!!
- Is there a particular moment in your life that led you to the writing of your book? What was it?
Yes, there were moments that made me write this novel. After coming to Turkey, I found different groups of people, eastern and western And I saw a large number in a crowded world, poor, miserable, wealthy beggars All kinds and varieties that we may see a few of them in several places and not in one place. It was nice to look at all groups and feel everything that is happening around you, but I felt strange when I saw how some are imprinted on the other with bad qualities of rebellion, exploitation and deception in order to be the best. No matter for humanity with what he does, the names were many, but their bad deeds are united I didn’t find that there is someone who deserves to have a name that indicates him, as he is like others with what he does from evil, and he will be among others with what he does from good.
- What is the message you would like to communicate to your readers?
I would like my words to reach people that there is no difference between us except if you are rich or poor or better than me in a degree, this does not mean To rebel and be arrogant against others, whether you are beautiful, ugly or weak, I want everyone to know that we must spread all the fruits of brotherhood, love and peace with good deeds No matter how bad we find people on our way, We must be kind and kind to the feelings of others We do not take advantage of the weak or the poor, we do good to reap Better more, don’t forget that there is a punishment that will come one day He holds us accountable for what we did, and there was no benefit other than us We create more knots in the depths of others.
- How much of you is there in the protagonist of the novel?
The heroism that I set is for every reader who sees what is missing. Identity, name, title, status in a society that has not looked at it with its talents and human rights Sam represents a lot of people too, William represents a lot Bisexual white sex and brown sex. We don’t differ in our looks, we differ in what we live by and we have it among the human races.
- Is there a book you are particularly attached to and that has taught you something?
No, there is no book. I love reading, as I find in it fun, culture, and knowledge of the most in the minds of others We have the ability to write, but we don’t write the same way That’s why it’s nice to browse through several different books To see each pen written in its own color that describes things from its personal perspective We learn from their stories and one day tell them to our children. Even if it was bad, it did not change what is in our minds It is good to learn and not give up, try and not give up.
- Are you planning to write more books?
I have prepared two books, the first one is called your likes and the last one It’s called the hanging soul. I haven’t printed them yet but after the start of the forty, it will be I have a new book every year.
